Matthew J. Rygelski
Founder and President of Phonewire, Inc.
As Founder, President, and owner of Phonewire, Inc., he is responsible for exploring new technologies, negotiating contracts, acquisitions and divestitures. He also takes an active role in the sales and marketing strategies of the company. In addition, he volunteers in several local organizations by broadcasting local news for the blind at Minds Eye Radio Information Service, providing audio description for theater at the St. Louis Muny, and assisting with Disaster Assessment services with the St. Louis Bi-State chapter of the American Red Cross.
Prior to founding Phonewire, Inc. in 1998, Mr. Rygelski started his career as a telecommunications installer, software engineer, and network consultant. He subsequently served in key management roles as an owner or executive for several privately held companies. He has successfully managed business-to-consumer and business-to-business retail and service industries, project management of software development, and liaison in creating and maintaining international outsourcing relationships. With almost 20 years of combined telecom and IT experience and a neverending thirst for innovation, challenge, and creative problem solving, he doesn’t just simply embrace change — he improves upon it.
Mr. Rygelski received his Bachelor degree in Management, with a minor in Psychology, from McKendree University with Magna Cum Laude honors and was the recipient of the Excellence in Management departmental award at the Honors Day Convocation from the School of Business for his commitment to responsible citizenship, engagement, academic excellence, and lifelong learning.
He is a member of the American Management Association (AMA), the Apple Developer Connection (ADC), and the Association for Information Technology Professionals (aitp).

W. John Fabrega
President and CEO of Line1 Communications, Inc.
As President and CEO of Line1 Communications, Inc., Mr. Fabrega acquired voicemail transcription services from Phonewire, Inc. in 2009. Although each company remains independent, we operate very closely, as if a partnership, to give our customers the greatest benefit of both of our organization’s resources. Phonewire can now provide all of Line1 automated telephone services to its customers. In addition, Line1 can now provide all of Phonewire live answering and hosted services to its customers. Each company compliments one another and, because we both work in concert with one another, the customer has the greatest advantage.
Mr. Fabrega received his Bachelor degree in Business Management, with a minor in Applied Politics, from Westminster College. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Regional Finance Director for the Republican National Party and the Finance Director for the Republican Party of Florida. He has been training in the martial arts since 1979 and is a Sensei with the rank of Renshi in Karate. The character “Ren” means “polished, tempered” and “shi” means “person”. Thus, Renshi indicates a “polished instructor” or expert.
